i know mine is...i used 3 quarts of oil driving from St Joe to Detroit, and the engine ain't burnin it.
likely places for oil leaks?

It could also be coming from the power steering pump, that is also in the area and prone to leaks...... unless you are SURE it's engine oil
Its motor oil because I just changed my oil and it has that new oil look. My ps oil is red from the xmission fluid I filled it up with.
