The winter months might be a good time to have a meet/tech session(similar to our last meet at Paul's shop) gathering. Anyone have ideas for a location? :salute:

Just sheared one of the bottom Trans bolts off & broke the inner trans housing & dumped all of the trans fluid, on the DD White 95 MTX "survivor" YAAAAAA GOT TO LOVE SOME HOLIDAY BS!!!!!!
I thought it was the throw out bearing when it happen, didn't go in 4th right, took it out & put it back in & engaged the clutch & it went to squealing/grinding:confused: But then i SMELT TRANS FLUID!!!!!!.....:eek:
I new it was through soon as i smelt it. :shrug: :shappens:

I don't think so Kevin because the peace of housing that broke on the inner housing was at the bottom where that bottom bolt should have been. The bolt was missing & the broke piece is what was rubbing against the flywheel/clutch. That's what was making the noise & the reason the fluid escaped. I looked up through the space between the trans & bell housing & could see the broke housing. I think the bolt had worked its way half way out & from the torque it broke the inner housing. **** i don't know!!!!
That's the only thing that made any sense to me at the moment.:shrug:
