Why is it that when you get an SHO engine wet, it doesnt run right? Is it true that Fords are really allergic to water? headbang

By the way stay away from Borg-Warner plug wires, they don't seal at all! What is the recommended plug for that engine 3.0L DOHC?

Motorcraft wires which can be found for a reasonable price at FordPartsNetwork.com. Don't try washing your engine down with a hose. Many people try this and end up F@#*&%* their engine up.

Not sure if your earlier post was inquiring about the recommended plugs or plug wires. Either way Motorcraft is the recommended replacement part for these two items. Correct plug number is AGSP-32PP which can also be purchased from FPN.

if you did not have the correct spark plugs installed, then it wouldn't matter if you had magic plug wires, they wouldn't seal... make sure you have either the AGSP32PP spark plugs or a denso equivalent that is EXACTLY the same height.... that is the only way that ANY spark plug wire will sealto the valve covers.....either way don't spray pressurized water on the engine..... its just not a good idea... some people get away with it without any trouble, but do you really feel that lucky???
