std rod bearing width is .057" thick, which when removed from the crank/rod/piston stroke equation, puts the piston beating on the bottom of the cylinder head. You'll ruin the piston/head very quickly doing this.

I saw a motor like that, guy kept driving it, the piston eventually broke into pieces, the pin stayed in the SE of the rod, and tore 2 gashes down the cylinder wall in the block in the next couple of strokes.... At this point everything went to **** in a handbasket, some of the piston pieces were ejected through the oil pan, the rod went "U", the crank locked, and the main cap girdle broke in 3 places. It looked like a grenade went off in the oil pan. Via the crankcase vent to the TB/intake, I actually found piston pieces and piston ring fragments in the surge tanks.

Driven twice, 1min onto the truck, 1min off.

I am aware of the piston slapping the head. I actually figured this was the problem in the 1st place. Either way i am prepared for it. I knew that was worst case scenario.

my seadoo did that. Arent two strokes reliable? madflame :rolleyes:

What is that bracket bolted to? The front head?

stops belt slippage?

Yes, does stop belt slippage, i believe that a few people will be "taking measurement" cause i have heard the many "mewants"

Chris, very clean and stealth man! I likie!! How much do those rims cost? It's hard to find a better looking rim then a slicer n the Gen1.. Your rims are dead sexy, though! beer
