Okay, so tonight Im on my way home from work at like 4 in the morning. I check the oil before I leave so I go to the gas station to get gas, and oil... I add a quart, check the coolant, everythings good.
About half way home just after I turned i was maybe in third gear. I wasn't driving the **** out of my car at all, I hadn't at all today. So all of a sudden I hear these clicking sounds coming from the engine like its stalling, so I shut the car off right away, coast to a stop. I tried to restart it, it kinda sorta turned over, but didn't. Got out checked the oil, it was fine, I was getting heat at the time, so there is coolant, but now when I try and start the car, all you hear is the starter trying to turn the engine and thats it, it just stops. So I have no clue. If one of the chains broke it would still turn over wouldn't it? What if I spun a rod bearing, would it still turn over? It doesn't move AT ALL. The electrical system is fine as far as I know, I was getting 14.3 volts or so at the time, after i shut the car off, the battery wasn't discharge. any remote chance this won't cost thousands to fix? Im assuming its done for, and at this point in time i think it maybe time for me to hang up my taurus keys for good. I've had some bad luck with them, but i keep tryin to give em a chance. anywho, what do you think?
Is she dead? shrug
