My 93, 3.2 with 133K appears to have an ignition problem. Check engine light is NOT on. While coasting to a traffic light the engine stalled, the dash lights lite up. I came to a full stop and it restarted. next episode: I was running numerious errands and tried to start the car. It cranked but did NOT fire. After the fifth try it started and is presently running. Does anyone know how to pinpoint if this is a DIS module problem, crank position sensor or if hard error code would be retreivable with a scan tool??

Sounds to me like a CPS (Crank Position Sensor). This happened to me last month. I was in traffic going to work and it stalled. Only to refire a short time later. If you try to grab the codes you might get a 211. Which is a Cam Fault. Eric (SHOtime) and Fred Hurder pointed out that if the CPS fails, the puter stores a Cam Failure due to is conjunction with the CPS to make the engine run. Pull the codes and let us know what you got.

I say this because I had a 2 week battle of the sensors during X-mas shoping. I replaced the Cam Sensor one week only to find out it was the CPS that was bad. After Eric replaced the CPS I ran the codes again which gave me a 111 (system pass).

Good Luck !! Keep us informed.
