At first my high beams didnt work. Fogs worked with the parking lights on with no problems, and now all of a sudden they dont. I'm going to ASSume that maybe I blew a fuse or something, but it got dark on me and I was hungry so I came on in. The way I understood the following directions:

http://www.shotimes.com/php-bin/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&mode=thread&order=0&thold=0&sid=212

There would be one wire (I think it was it was the red/black one) that would NOT be connected to anything. Well when the headlights didnt work I thought I'd touch that remaining wire to the the 3 I had hooked up :banghd: After I did that the fog light switch no longer worked. So now I have no fogs, and no highbeams. Any ideas good people? I'm going to start with checking fuses tomorrow, and I may run by the junkyard to pull the swith out of the SHO they have up there just in case...

Sounds like you popped the fog fuse. Its hanging inline just above the fuse panel, not in the panel itself.

Thanks man. Any idea why the highbeams didnt work even before I popped the foglight fuse? And a little OT...I have to go to Clarksburg, WV next week for work. I don't mind Charleston, but not too excited about Clarksburg...

I actually had my laptop out in the car with me while I was doing it! That doesnt mean I didnt screw it up though. The directions were appreciated, but there were some key typo's and formatting decisons that made part of it a little confusing - at least to my small mind.

You made sure to cover the power from headlights wire you cut off that is coming from the dash? And if so what did you use?

I sure did, using insulated electrical tape as the directions from SHOtimes stated.

I did mine a few weeks ago. Instead of reading the whole article, just do what it says on the bottom. Cut one wire and hook it up to the top like it says with a connector. I did it in five minutes, and have no problem up to date. I just get high beamed alot because I put a new fog light set on and new fishtanks. 27.00 for the fog lights and 115.00 for the fishtanks. looks like a new car now.
