So we can fill the need for making our SHOs look as good as they run(not that i dont like the way look now).
Here's an idea i came up with ...in regards to group buys lets have a few options.
1. gen # who want cowl
2. gen # who want ram air
from here we can get some group interest and when a company see's the demand they'll say,"ok theres some interest so if you can get 10 people per buy we will make the hoods for lets say...450 shipping included.
its a long shot and maybe that price is way off but in the last 2 years i have seen car fanatics like SHO owners in only a few other makes of cars. let alone a long dead taurus option package.
long term this may force cincysho or any other shop to make deals or packages. also remember if there is competiton quality will go up.
now my current plan is to have enough money by around 8.15.02 to by a hood so if theres anyone willing to try this, i have raised my hand

If I had money to spare I would be. Unfortunately, gotta fix that pulley on the ac, putting new springs and struts on the sho, getting my '83 capri running again (dunno what that'll cost... at least a new coil and plug wires, maybe more as it's been sitting for 2 years, plus gotta get heat and ac working in it again) all this week... plus gotta gf wanting a ring that I keep putting off due to broken ass cars. My hood, though, is not broken, so I don't think I can get by with replacing it first.

Yes, I am interested. Either hood would be good for me. I we go with the Ram Air it has to go with the lines of the car, but all in all sounds good! thumbs_u

Interested sorta. I'd like to see a design first. Maybe a few mock ups to look at and see how much interest in any particular model.

interested in ram air for gen 2, being functional might not be that good though because the breathing is so good from the factory with the cold air fender intake. i would suggest a dual cowl(2") ram air with breather holes in the back so the air can go in and out and cool off the engine. just an idea.

TC Spoiler out of California, I believe I posted their information in one of the other hood threads. I believe they require 10 people and a basic design with a guinea hood. They just duplicated a $1000 hood for $450 for the grand prixs.

im guessing the cowl hood could look just like the cincysho one. or maybe a slight variation on it. anybody who wants a gen 2 cowl group buy, if i can get 10 people ill e-mail that company monday and see what they say then we can go from there.
