I drive a 1992 MTX w/JBl sound system.
After much trouble & many time recharging my battery, I took it to my mechanic who determined that something on high current fuse (under the hood) E was doing the dirty work. When this fuse is out my foglights don't work & neither do my speakers. This makes me think it's my amplifier pulling the extra current while my car sits, but the manual I think just says fuse panel. This is odd because everything else works. Any idea what else is on this fuse? Any other ideas are great.

thanks

You ned to see what is staying on that is on that fuse. The amp won't pull "extra current" unless it has a dead short, and then it will only pull it for a short time (until it burns up). You have somthing that is staying on all the time if removing that fuse corrects the problem.

Please clarify the identification of the fuse.

My diagrams do not have a fuse "E", but show a #1 through #10.

If you have the owner's manual, look up in that to see what else is on the suspect circuit.
