ok so i have a 89 sho 155,*** miles when i got it, it had spark issues turned out just to be missing bolts in the dis control modual. After that it started right up and had it running for about 40 mins and then i had to wait on the front and back glass from the junk yard they took like a moth and a half to pull the glass so i hadnt touched it since went to go and start it up the other day and nothing, jumped it and it started but really rough then died off, and continues to do so. replaced the fuel filter, same out come my machanic says says sounds like its outa time when started and firing order is correct heard it could be some control modual by underside of the radiator but also know that the fuel pump and cooling fans still turning on. please help out of ideas

bad gas? did you put any staybal in it or anything that will help the gas sit? might want to see what codes its poping. start it up and by hand keep the throttle open and run it for a little wile till you get the bad gas out of the line... if you let a car sit for a wile i know this becomes an issue...

well, i'm no expert at all but i'm been searching for answers for my car and this one sounds to me like a camshaft (people say it causes the cars to run rough) or maybe the DIS module is loose or not connected properly. I've read it needs to have an electrical glue backing..... or it may be out of wack

Well i better stop there. I just figured some ideas are better than no ideas

If you start replacing parts without running the codes first, you're most likely just throwing money away. I'll never understand why people ignore the targeted diagnostic system built right into the car...

It's like a doctor randomly prescribing medicine and procedures, hoping they fix the problem, without ever asking the patient what hurts...

its the on board diagnostic system or obd it tells ur pcm if there is an issue with something in the operating system odds are you dont have a scaner. so if a may suguest you find someone that has one that is willing to show you how to go about the prosess or find a mechanic. you should check out the PA clubs and talk to some of the guys in ur area, from post i have read the guys around there are pretty sharp when it comes to these motors and like john said ur gonna just keep wasting money by throughing parts at it and if i sound like a dic i apolagise just tryin to help

Just click the link I posted above for all of the details on the targeted diagnostic system. All you need to do it is a paper clip and a brain.
