So today I hop in my car to get it warmed up before I get it moving. Plug in myoil presure gauge and turn the key. It gives me a couple cranks and then pretty much looses power or discharges whatever was left in the system. The dash went dark and my oil pressure light went off. The oil pressure gauge us hard wired into the electrical system so for it to lose power would mean that power was not getting into the passenger area. I still checked to see if the solenoid trigger wire was still on and althoug it was starting to come off it was still connected. I then grabbed the multimeter to check battery voltage and it had over 12.2V so after that I started checking grounds and the battery ground and engine ground were solid. I ohmed out one and got a reading of -4.x Ohms(doesn't seem possible). I also gave the positive wire off the wire a little wiggle and then upon looking into the cabin saw that my oil pressure light was on for my gauge. If I had to guess it was the positive cable giving me issues but I can't be sure since I gave them all a wiggle at once. Anybody have any other ideas?

Short version:

1. car started to crank but then cut out with all electrical in the cabin going dark
2. hard wired gauge lost power as well so it likely wasn't the ignition circuit
3. battery has over 12V so battery wasn't drained to the point of losing electrical inside the vehicle
4. wiggling the grounds and lines off the battery brought it back.
5. grounds felt solid and one ohmed out to a negative value.
