Silver bullet
A friend of mine had a green 95 sho, 5 speed, 70,000 miles. He had almost everything replaced when he first got it, including water pump, the sensor underneath of it, timing belt, even had the "squeaks" in his front suspension fixed. OH yeah, also, flowmaster exhaust. Well a month ago, he traded it in for a cougar because his oil light, the red one, in the bottom left corner of the gauge cluster stayed on. Mine usually flickers on if my car is about to die whenever I don't give it enough gas (mine is a 5 speed also), But someone he worked with told him that that meant the oil pump is about to go out, which, he drove a neon, and just got a new engine put in because of that. He didn't really check around, he just heard that is what it meant and that no one makes oil pumps for the SHO anymore and its not worth trying to save. Does anyone have a solution for that? Or know if any of that is true, or possibly what it really could have been. He did drive it really hard, but so do I and mine never did anything like that, plus mine hasn't even had a tune up yet (i know thats bad, its going to be done...) If i didn't say something clear, just ask, cuz sometimes I don't really say things clear.
