Anybody have codes for different mods that I can add through ForScan for my 2015? I have heard you can monitor the AWD system, add climate controls to the right side, and, possibly, TPMS readings. I was looking on the ForScan forums, but couldn't find any specifics. I know the TPMS sends pressure readings to the ECU, because I can see them in my Torque app.

For my 2016, AWD and double-honk disable are:

Double honk:

726-16-01 0211 57 as built
726-16-01 0201 47

AWD gauge: Change first 8 to B

720-01-02 8AFC-4CF0-3F2B asbuilt
720-01-02 BAFC-4CF0-3F5B

Verify your 2015's as-built data before using these values. If you need help figuring out what the HEX values are based on your as-built data, feel free to ask.

As built data using your VIN: https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt

Gonna give this a try over the weekend. I have direct access to Ford's FMCDealer, so I can get the as-built from there if I need it.

Is ForScan what the dealer uses? Asking because I need to take my 2015 PP in to get the TMPS sensors reset after I put on winter tires (dumb, as our 2007 Jeep GC detected the new sensors without an issue when I change from summer to winter tires, even the first time). If I need to do this, I would like to know what else they can change. In particular, I would like to change:

Disable the automatic door locking. (I dispise this "nanny!")

Disable the "double beep" when you leave the car with the engine running. (Ditto)

Enable the DRL feature. (why isn't this standard?)

Enable the "power distribution" display for the AWD (ditto)

Can the individual tire pressures be displayed? (ditto, std on my 2007 Jeep)

Any others you can suggest?

Thanks!

No the dealership uses I.D.S. (integrated diagnostic systems?)

They cannot add the AWD function. They cannot disable the double horn honks. I don't know about DRLs since our cars have HIDs. I thought this was a function in the instrument cluster? TPMS presses are a no go.

You can train the sensors yourself after purchasing a tpms-19 tool from the dealership. Ask the dealership to look up G.S.B. G0000053, page 4.

The auto locks you can disable yourself. Read the owners information.

This is a Ford not an FCA. They are not comparable.

I switched over to winter tires last year, and didn't have to retrain my TPMS. I used brand-new sensors straight from a Ford dealer parts dept.

As for Forscan, it's not hard to do yourself. I have an el-cheapo Bluetooth OBD-II interface and it worked just fine.

I may regret this but the Ford TPMS where around $80 a piece, so when I got my new wheels Discount Tire price matched Rock-Auto at $35 a piece. Additionally everything I read says aftermarket TPMS are just as good if not better then some stock, as I said I may have done wrong but so far seems like I did ok.

Was just putting it out there as additional data. ;)

I payed around $70, the guy gave me a "break" of about 15% off list. Maybe because I was wearing my Carhart jacket - lol - it was Saturday, the tire place didn't have any, and it was my only option. But they worked great. I'll be putting the winter tires on in a few days, so we'll see what happens.

I recently got new wheels from Discount Tire and paid $25 each for new TPMS sensors from them and they didn’t need to be trained

So could it be I got a bad T *** from Tire Rack? When I put the new winter tires on, there were no error codes. After driving for a while, the TPMS light came on (I would estimate somewhere between 10 and 40 miles, becauseI only have about a 1 mile commute and the light came on several days later when my wife was driving me to the airport). As I recall, on the Jeep, the light came on immediately, but went out after driving a few miles. If its a problem with the TMPS I purchased from Tire Rack, then it's their problem and I can contact them about how they will correct the issue. Full disclosure, when I got the tires and wheels, they had rubber, rather than the steel stems I purchased. The invoice also indicated that the tires were a slightly different size for a 2017 Mustang, rather than my 2015 SHO. Since both were 315 MHz transducers on a Ford product, I would not have expected this was a problem, but maybe it was. Anyone know if the TMPS are different between a Mustang and a SHO?

If I "Google" ForScan can I get info on purchasing one? And how do I get the "build code" info for my 15 SHO PP?

Thanks!

Went to the Ford dealership today. Retrained the new TPMS sensors for no charge, but indicated that I may need to repeat this when I put the summer tires back on. What a PITA! They also disabled the auto door locks. Yes, it can be done from the left instrument LED screen, but is way down the list of vehicle settings, which is why I missed it previously. They indicated that the can enable the DRL system (don't think it the headlights because of the HID's, but the turn signals and possibly the white LED's at the bottom of the front facia. Indicated that they cannot disable the "double beep" because it's a "safety" feature and did not even ask about the AWD display or individual tire pressures.

Anybody have codes for different mods that I can add through ForScan for my 2015?

Here are the most common settings that I have found:

IPC Module (720), APIM (7D0), BdyCM (723)

Changes will alter the checksum, you'll need to recalculate it. Maybe ForScan does that automagically for you now?

Enable Navigation in right window (two modules to update) - 720-01-01 set Data2 first character from B to F and 7D0-01-02 Data1 second character 0 to 4.

Enable AWD distribution in left window – 720-01-02 set Data1 first character from 8 to B

Enable blind spot/cross traffic in left window – 720-01-02 set Data2 second character from 0 to C

Enable engine hours\idle hours in left window – 720-01-02 set Data2 fourth character from 0 to 3 (note – this enables hours from the time you set, it does not show from start of car’s life – bummer)

Walk Away Honk – turn off by setting 723-16-01 Data1 third character from 1 to 0

There's a way to enable DRL, I don't have notes on that, so maybe that's one of the things that ForScan sets via a checkbox.

Others have talked about ‘dark car’ where you can disable having the interior lights come on with the door opening and additional settings. May also be a checkbox setting.

Love that someone started this thread!! I just downloaded the free FORScan software on my laptop and purchased the ELM327 USB module to connect to my car. There's a bunch of cool things you can do as already shared in this thread but there's others also like directing the door chime and car startup beeps through the radio speakers - guess it sounds more luxury doing this.
You can change the tail light configuration on the Fusion, but not sure about Taurus but I'm sure going to try it out! I'm not a huge fan of the Taurus rectangle light pattern.
The Taurus has a Global Windows Remote Open, but for some dang odd reason it doesn't give you the "Close," feature but it appears you can program the Close feature also!
Dark Car Mode
Door Ajar Chime
Navigation on the go
Reverse mirror tilt
Heated Steering Wheel Temp
Automatic Turn Signal Count, etc...

Can't wait to get my module and start programming! I did a lot of this on my 2010 Audi S4 with the ***-COM programming mods - it's very addicting!

The following is to turn on the DRL feature (I have a 2013 PP). I have it set to 3 which uses the front turn signal amber bulbs...but I also have the drive bright lights in place of the normal lower "fog/running" lights and they are hooked up to the turn signals. The end effect is that both the Turns and lower running lights are Amber when the DRL's are active. The DriveBrights go back to white when the headlights are on. You find the following address in Forscan on the BCM and change the capital X to either 0,1,2,or 3 depending on the effect you are going for...

DRL BCM 726-11-01 xXxx xxxx xx 0=disabled 1=headlight at reduced output 2=fog lights 3=front turn signal only top bulb on each side

I have the Drive Brights also, so when the car is in normal mode, lights in Auto and it's day time, the turn signals and the Drive Bright DRLs are amber? And when you use turn signals.... they both obviously flash amber? You got pics?

Has anyone been able to get reverse mirror tilt to work on a 2015?

Yes that is how it works. I can get you a pic or maybe even a video in a day or so. I stole/borrowed the idea from someone else but I really like the way it looks.
