I'd love to see one of the maps for the ATPs to compare. Any way you can work your magic getting those? LOL...

Haha! I didn't have to look too hard for those of Matt's turbos. I saved those attachments to my phone when he released them on EBPF.I'd love to see one of the maps for the ATPs to compare. Any way you can work your magic getting those? LOL...
I’d go more compression and less boost.
That first one severely hurts my brain. Is that supposed to be stock turbo, and the gt25 is the one Matt sells?
Good question. And as the ATP is a Garrett product, I've been trying to nail down the equivalent Garrett turbo nomenclature but cant get a definitive answer. Using their naming convention, I was getting something like a GT2256 but not sure that's accurateThat first one severely hurts my brain. The one with the GH logo is the stock turbo. You would think the GH logo would be on the one they developed. That first one severely hurts my brain. Is that supposed to be stock turbo, and the gt25 is the one Matt sells?
Yeah I don't know how that little sketch was derived but I wouldn't put any faith in a drawing that doesn't have any choke points. I realized last night that I can actually build a stock map from the turbo flow models within the ecu. I'm going to try drawing one up after work, using Ford's data. I'll post it up in a new thread so as not to hijack this one.The one with the GH logo is the stock turbo. You would think the GH logo would be on the one they developed.
10:1 seems makes the most sense from every thing I've read here, and the outside research I've done.
Better drivability and More power on less boost are the most appealing benifits to the stock 10:1.
Direct injection + E30 + meth spray would seem to make detonation almost a non issue up to my target 18-20psi.
9:1 pistons for the sake of experiment, is still tempting for me, though I'm convinced 10:1 is the way to go.![]()

Personally haven't seen anyone have a benefit for 9:1 on these car. a high horsepower v8, sure. but I don't think you'd ever see enough power to take advantage of a 9:1 compression ecoboost engine.
Ryan over at RMB Motorworks is an ecoboost mad Scientist, he can provide clarification as well. He's the one doing my build...I would ping BPD1151 before making a purchase as he is having a new built out from very knowledgeable builder... the lower compression seems interesting... and I don’t know a single SHO that has gone that route...

I can't be mad at that, lol...let me know when you do, I'll throw money at you haha.Yup... Matt Robinson has been telling me send my motor there for a year... lol
My response is I’m not building a motor until I can build a better awd system and trans to handle it.

That is what she said.Has anyone actually measured to at least see if the 3.5 would fit in the engine bay in the correct orientation? I don’t see width being a problem but depth is another story.
It is pretty simple....F150 10 speed and rear end swap. Super easy, barely an inconvenience...lol.
Hahaha set you up for that one. That is what she said.
I have a partial quote for a rwd drive conversion on the SHO with an LS setup which is cheaper than the F150 hardware minus the electronic bits....
The shop called me back after a couple of days after they hit $40K in fab labor / regular labor and parts..
I said we can pull the plug...
Biggest issues were gonna be mounting a rear end that could handle the torque. Custom mount points, custom bracing, custom axles, brakes, etc etc etc...
My inner 12 year old could not resist.Hahaha set you up for that one.
