The compressor sure has helped out, ALOT. Made getting the collector bolts out much easier then I expected.

I have nearly every bolt out and the two hangers under the mid of the car undone but the thing is not dropping down?

Any ideas, what did I miss?

I took out one o2 sensor and unplugged the other, those are a *****.

I might order up a dynomax catback to slap on things are real rusty and I got a big rusty ring that fell off that flex pipe.

I want to get this dropped down so I can drop the oil and tranny pans and get to work under there while I wait for my vac lines from bittersweetsho to finish the upper side.

What exactly are you asking?

Are you trying to remove the y-pipe or the exhaust?

The ATX y-pipe has two additional attachment points, one from below, and one under the pass axle. You don't need to remove the exhaust to do rod bearings.

4 bolts that bolt the ypipe to manifold 2 front 2 rear,
2 bolts from ypipe to catback
2 bolts 1 goes from ypipe to transmission and 1 from ypipe to transmission mounting bracket (assuming ATX)

why are you dropping your tranny pan? not for rodbearings I hope, and that rusty ring was a gasket that goes between your ypipe and catback, if your stock catback isn't horribly rusty I would just get a high flow muffler I have dynomax and I would have been just as happy with louder mufflers and a larger resanator (the dynomax one is as big as stock)

From what i know you do not need to remove the y-pipe in order to remove the trans pan.

Since we go onto the topic of trans as well...do you guys know if the trans filter and gasket from Advance Auto is any good? I just ordered one so I can get that done.
