How do I get at the ECT sensor to replace it? I don't know how I'd even get a 1 inch wrench in there to remove it. doh Is there some kinda trick to it??

Replaced mine a few months ago. A crows foot socket at the end of a 6-8" extension worked well for me.

Put a dash of pipe sealing paste or a strip of teflon tape on the threads of the new sensor before you install it.

You should also drain a little coolant out of the system and disconnect the battery before replacing the sensor.

If you cannot get your socket around the connector, use a flat blade screwdriver and break it off... Then you should be able to slide the socket right on it.

EDIT: I tried a deep well socket... It just was not deep enough frown

When I did mine I just used a deep socket on a 1/2" drive ratchet. Not alot of room but enough to do the job.
