do i **** the quil and bearing ?

i'm changing my tranny and was wondering when i put it back on if i am suppose to **** the quill? thanks-

No. It specifically states this in the instructions. Now, that's for the stock pieces from Ford. If you're going for an aftermarket piece, follow that vendor's instructions.

Remember to red loctite the quill sleeve ****** to the MTX housing so it doesn't slide off (like one I saw recently before I installed that transaxle in the 91).
