Well I need a y-pipe for my 93 (automatic) it sounds like a darn tank :omg: . I cannot find one through any vendors midwest sho, sho nutt, etc... Do I need to go search the junkyards? I guess I will also post in the wanted to buy section later but any suggestions are welcome.

Or you can get a Catco brand. I believe its pretty much a stock replacement.

Yeah I just found a good thread on this from a couple weeks ago. One thing thats messing me up, I need to know if there is a difference between 3.2 & 3.0 y-pipes or manual and auto y-pipes. Are they all the same. I know replacing the manual y-pipe is like an upgrade but like the midwest sho y-pipe is that for an auto also as a stock replacement? The catco unit says it will fit 92-95 but only says 3.0 and does not specify auto or manual and I have a 3.2 auto so I need to know if there is a difference?

For an auto the gain will not be that great since the auto y-pipe does not have a stupid L bend in it. You can go with
A) Go with stock replacement
B)If you have the money, go for the expensive performance one

Personally I would go with a stock replacement. That extra 200 bucks can but used else were for more gains.

Automatic (ATX) and manual (MTX) y-pipes are different. Catco makes replacements for both, at about $300.

Where did the pipe crack? As longs as the cats are intact, you can probably get a muffler shop to just weld the pipe, probably for under $50.
