My new oil leak is comming from the front main seal (i think). I also have a low end power loss. Could this be CPS related. Could this oil leak cause any other means to lose power in the low end? Help me because me computor is not throwing any codes.

It the CPS fails, the car doesn't run. Period.

The leak is probably unrelated to your perceived power loss.

It is unlikely for the computer to throw a code due to either condition.

O.K. so it turns out that it isnt my crank seal. I took off the timing covers and the thing is bone dry. I think it might be the oil pan gasket. I might as well do the rod bearings while im in there, what is the gasket set number?

Ill just worry about the power loss issue later...fix this oil leak first.

OPG set is Fel-Pro OS 30636R

FYI, the front main seal is behind the LOWER timing cover. If it is leaking, it is extremely difficult to tell if it or the front OPG is the culprit.
