Well, jsut got hold of my second SHO so i figure its time to actually sign up here instead of just reading all your posts :D. i bought this thing with the guy assuring me that it needed a new throwout bearing.. ok i though, common problem ill have it fixed in a jiffy. i bring it tot he shop and i get this horrible squealing noises on and off along with some serious vibrations going on.. uh oh, whatever though it just the tob freezing up a little right?... oh boy, mechanic calles me not 3 hours later, your diff is blown and you need a new tranny. well after putting much vodoo curses on the guy that caused me this issue i bit the bullet and ordered another MTX from some junkyard in idaho falls, (im in Mt) and all should be well on friday, with me luck.

I would suggest searching "welded diff" and looking into buying one. I might not end up using the one I have actually, but just a little extra insurance to save the new trans.
