If someone had bad rod bearings, and ONLY replaced them, did no other work to it,

what running and driving circumstances might one be in?
ie: How would the car run?

thanks!:omgsho:

What he is asking is, what are the tell tale signs that a SHO motor has spun a rod bearing in the past? If you spun a bearing and then changed the bearing and didnt do anything else but change the bearings, how would the car drive and feel?

The bearing does not effect power output of anything. I would think that if the bearing is out of clearance you may experience the oil light flickering at idle. There may be some excessive lower end noise. If the crank or rod cap was damaged the bearing would probably spin again quickly, especially if the engine is revved tp 7k very often. What ia your car doing?
