Well, I've been wanting to have an AZ sho club go kart race night for a long time. I'm thinking of meeting up at Speed Street on 67th Ave. and Bell. It usually is $25 for one race, which is about 12 laps or so. You can get coupons for buy one race get one free race. So essentially it'll be $25 for 2 races, or 25 laps. The karts go 40-50 mph on the straights and have 9 hp. Here is the website: http://www.phoenixgokarts.com/

If anyone has a place that they like better, feel free to post it up!

Date is to be decided.

I have been to both speedway and F1Factory and speedway isn't as nice on the inside. for exp. no bar or arcade but who goes to a go kart track for that. Speedway is a lot less restritive on how you drive and seemed to go faster than f1. So I'm all up for speedway when I have money.

I'm up for that but I'll just be the videographer, I don't think my back could take that kind of racing.

Those things are fun. I might even consider a trip to Phoenix for something like that if it fits into my schedule. I'll even bring the Garage Queen.

Sweet, seems like a lot of people are interested. I'll try to get a bunch of coupons at school next week for Speedstreet. If this is a hit, next AZ SHO go karting meet can be at F1 for sure! :3gears: (Oh wait, they're not shifter karts...)

I'm thinking on a weekend would be the best for everybody. I always have every Sunday off, and this place is open from 11 am - 11 pm on Sundays. Some people may have to work on Saturdays as I do (every other). How does a Sunday sound for everyone?

SuperHO, Speedway is a different coarse from the one I was talking about, Speedstreet. Speedway is at 25th St. and Washington. Speedstreet is at 67th Ave. and Bell Rd. I went to speedway and the coarse was nice, but the lighting, atmosphere, and staff were not as nice. Neither was the pricing.

I used to go to Speedway a lot until F1RaceFactory opened, and I haven't been back to Speedway since.

I guess that says something...

Sundays (or Saturdays) are fine by me as long as it doesn't conflict with a track event. The next one is the first weekend in March.

Well I guess I throw out a date: Feb. 26th at 1:00 which is the last Sunday of the month.

How does that sound to everybody?

Edit: 26th not 25th
