Steering wheel? I thought you were going in straight lines? That's gotta be a few lbs.

Even better, remote steering, no need for an in car driver. Man that would save me a bunch of weight!

So couple of new happenings. Got the car on a scale and going towards my goal of 1000lbs out from 4570. So a solid 823lbs out the car. Basically this was 5 gallons of methanol, kirkey, dash and a half tank of fuel. Pretty solid. Should be high 3600s with less fuel.

Then a new addition to the car is this carbon fiber "dash" made by @aaron240. Going to eventually take some of the bracketing off as I get motivation but should be a solid amount of weight out the car from 3737!

Back in my autocross days a friend of mine went max effort in his Chevy Aveo and spend a day with dry ice and a hammer/scraper and he weighed out nearly 100 lbs between the sound deadening and all of the carpet glue/seam fillers. Just saying...

Believe it or not my last sho I did this and it realistically was around 10-15lbs. The carpeting is like double layered in places which I'm assuming is the new sound deadening but traditional sound deadening not really a thing anymore at least in sho

Doing a little bit of improving. Used transmission going in with gearhead Torque Converter. Actually going to reseal some things on the engine and check out everything while I'm in there. Got a tiny front cover leak. Going to fix up the rats nest and probably cerakote some things to make it pretty. Going to probably take a month and just really take my time with it! What you're seeing is about two hours of work!

Found a little restriction on the wastegate piping. Should help control the boost a little better. A lot of little improvements coming in. Got a new compressor housing gasket, new hpfp roller, exhaust wrap finished up, and timing cover resealed!
