I was cleaning out my trunk and noticed some loose cables. Obviously amp wires and speaker wires. I do not have any rear deck speakers, sub, or amp in my 2016. Could it be aftermarket? Pics included. I did notice an amp wire hooked up to battery as well.

Some of the aftermarket amps are now using cables with RJ45 connectors for signals - like turn on/off.

Are you sure it is not slightly smaller like a phone jack? Many amp companies use phone plugs and wires for remote bass-level knobs. It would have gone from near the driver or glove box to the amp most likely.
Yes, it's the size of a phone jack. I haven't had a system in a car since the 90's so i have no idea what the industry does now.

Hopefully there's a fuse block at/near the battery for that amp power, and hopefully that fuse has been removed. With those wire nuts I'd be very cautious about using any of the wiring from the previous install. Also, I hope whomever did that wire nut wiring did not do any of the maintenance on the car....
