So, today, I've had a couple of audible (re: spoken) warnings in the SHO.

The first one, I was leaving work around 2:40 PM. I started the car, let it warm up about 3-4 minutes, then put it in D and started heading for the gate. Idling through the lot, ambient temp was 33 degrees, I heard an audible warning. "Warning, something something something". It didn't mute the stereo, and I couldn't hear it over the DJ on the radio. Drove the car slowly, didn't seem to be anything wrong, when the trans temp got above 90-ish, I started driving it like normal. No issues.

Had my company Christmas party tonight, was talking to a friend with a 2013, he didn't know either. Left from there, car warmed up for about 10 minutes, then we had a 10 minute drive before we hit the highway. As I'm matted in the throttle, accelerating up the on-ramp, I hear another "Caution, something something something." The wife heard it as well, but again, neither one of us could make out WHAT was being said.

I've read the owners manual, I've googled my heart out, I cannot seem to find out WHAT my car is trying to tell me. Datalogs look normal, and car is 100% stock with 19k miles.

Anyone have any idea?

Did you buy the car new or used? If used, maybe the previous owner installed a hard-wired radar detector and what you're hearing is a radar warning.

From other annunciators in my car, the radio volume has been reduced and the warning/caution volume for each has been controllable with the audio system volume control. Next time it happens, try to increase the volume and see if the warning/caution volume also increases. if not, I'd be pretty convinced the sound you're hearing is not OEM to the car.

I did buy it used, I haven't seen any type of radar detector or anything. And it's never gone off when I've been around emergency/LEO vehicles. It's very strange ......

Maybe ice formation on the sensors, or a simple warning about freezing conditions, since temps may have been below freezing before you got into the SHO this AM? Torque Pro issues freeze/ice alerts when started based on the IAT.

Ah, I did have Torque Pro up both times, that could have been it! It wasn't "technically" snowing when I left work, but there were itty bitty flakes coming down. And it was 30 when I left the Christmas Dinner.

I'll look into that, thanks!

Mine will do that when the sensors can't 'see' which I assume is from frost. The camera/sensor in the windshield seems to be the one it complains about

It was torque pro. I found the speech settings. It was a little unnerving the first couple times. LOL

Now Ive set it to speak when the car is at operating temperature.
