The rear mount on my '91 is nearly 2.5" higher than the one on the '96 subframe. The Sticky doesn't mention any modifications for the rear mount. How far off does that throw the rod shifter and the exhaust? Or should I migrate that mount over too?

I *think* you have to use the 96+ rear subframe bushings anytime you use a Gen III subframe. They are thinner from what I've read (pictured below).

When you replace bushings on a 95 or older subframe, you buy (4) front 96+ subframe bushings.

I used the third gen subframe bushings on my '91, they are nearly identical in height. The motor mount is the only thing I cannot account for via geometry. I may need to change the angle of the transmission mount to adjust for the change as well.

Did you use a Gen3 SHO subframe or Gen3 Taurus subframe? From what i remember you cannot use the Gen3 SHO subframe for the swap. I dont know what the differences are right off though.

I used a GEN3 SHO subframe as my friend had two complete engine / transmission / subframes from ones he stripped.. I checked Zak's '95, and his 2001 subframe has the same rear mount as mine. So I will be moving the rear motor mount over as well.

Yup, you have to use a regular Taurus subframe (some prefer the early duratec ones) vs a V8 SHO subframe due to the rear engine mount location.
