i will check the others today, but i do know i dont have any power at the solid yellow wire on the CCRM

if you have no power to the yellow wire than thats your problem. You will need to find FUSIBLE LINK N and see if there is power on the other side of the link. The yellow wire is the CCRM relay power and the PCM power (PCM Pin #1) it should be hot at all times hence the reason you can't run the PCM DIAG.

The fuse links are located on or around the left (drivers) strut tower and the starter relay (that relay you found on the firewall (the one I thought might be a fuel pump relay).

You could bypass the fuse link with a wire to the batt (for troubeshooting), just make sure you throw a inline fuse of the apropriate size just incase there is something shorted that caused the fusable link to blow. There is a chance that the fusable link isn't blown and the wire/circuit is just open due to a broken wire or been disconnected.

F**K YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ITS ALIVE!!!!!!11!!!1!ONE!!1!!!

i checked the only fusible link that i found (it was like a foot from the CCRM plug) and it was good. still no power at the yellow wire. so i took a jumper and the the battery to the yellow wire, the key was already on, and i hear a click and then uuurrrrrrrnnnnnnn. it was the fuel pump priming!!!!!!!!!!! hit the key and started right up!!!!! so i must have a break in that yellow wire somewhere. i have some looking to do tomorow. i will also try to run the codes and see if that is the problem.

HUGE THANKS to naval-avi80r for helping me with this problem. i just need to find the break where ever it is and start really cleaning the car.

Trace that yellow wire to its fusabile link and then to its power sorce. I can't belive they didn't just use a fuse block unstead of those fuseable links. Oh waite its FORD.

well the yellow wire is fine all the way from the CCRM to the computer. so it must be the power sorce for the CCRM or the ECU. i will look around some more for the power source. and there doesnt appear to be a fueable link anywhere in that yellow wire. but it is connected fine from the ecu to the ccrm

There is a Fusable Link for it the yellow wire splices and one leg goes to the ccrm and one goes to the PCM. From the splice it will travle to the fuse link and then to a power source (Batt cable/main fuse block). If you goe to the second link I provided it shows what/how a fuse link looks as well where they are located in general on the 89/90 Taurus platform. It also indicates the main wire color/size of the supply to the fuse link.
