3.0 wont idle

Earlier today after some spirited driving my car cant seem to figure out how to idle. at first it was sitting up around 5k then would surge from 1-2k and after trying the idle reset procedure it still sits around 2-25k

Sounds like you may have popped off a vac line or something. Take a look around under the hood to start with.

I was thinking I might have a vac leak I didn't hear anything that stood out but ill take a closer look, are there any common lines that rot thru or something

the cruise was not letting the throttle close completely so i just disconnected it. it stalls sometimes now when the clutch is disengaged or surges a little bit but i think that might be because i disconnected the ecm and batterey thinking the idle needed to be reset
