Think it will take some front slicks & perhaps some smaller tires. Of course we both know what rain and bad track conditions do to traction... LOL

Also... Chris @ Circle D is going to work on a stall converter.

BPD... how did the downpipes work? Did you get to the dyno to check out?

Who got the 12.09? One of the guys running more efficient turbos, or someone else?

What seems strange is you got a 12.37 but only 111 mph... you musta got a really good 60'!
I did a 12.09 at 117.93 mph on a cold October day with a bit of tail wind. I don't have the upgraded turbos.

Terrific! Beginning to think the PP hurts when you are going for top speed. Lots depends on where you end up at the end of 1/4. Want to max out the gear... Shifting to next one costs a couple tenths...

I need to mention that I try putting al the chances on my side when attempting to do a personal best. Good track, tail wind, low temps, good DA... But, I too, am surprised that my trap speed is about the same or better than others that have the same mods or more and the PP. I must be a better driver! lol (I often read that on youtube that I am a bad or a good driver... the heck, the car is auto and AWD, beside RT, how can you be bad?).

Steve, did you note my G8 times and speed? I turned a 12.071 @ 114.

And my car was running lean, and didn't seem to really perform well at top end. My runs were at 800+ Alt... don't know DA but it was cold and humid.

I was in the 12.6's with higher speeds before the 3000 Circle D stall, so there is more there.

But... AIN'T IT FUN TRYING!!!!!!

the grocery store is 1/2 mile or 2 stop lights from the end of my street, next time I go out I will write down the time when I leave and the time I get back.

Anyone know of any SHO's running at high altitude? Wondering what kind of times people are getting at 5,000'+.
