Duplicolor gloss black + SEM clear makes shiny mirrors and door frames.

Bye bye dull'd/sun'd plastic.

:naughty:

Donno if its gonna last but , at least it looks better for now.

Very clean. good job. Not crazy about the 3.2 decal though.

Thanks

Looks good, tint would help if it's legal.

Yup its underway , with a dyno run. The front sides are pretty much illegal (not really but you just add 10% and you're out of range) and the rear and rear sides , I can paint them , theres no restrictions on these , so Tints will be there soon :p

How did you tape the rest of the car off? I'm trying to get a feel for how lazy I can be while doing this.

I removed the mirrors (Yes you need to remove the whole int door panel.) , for the pilars I only used green masking tape (less sticky) and paper to cover the area. Be very gentle with the spray...more thinner coats>thick coats

You can tape it off , if you take the time to tape it really carefully , you will get good results.

HOW TO REMOVE THE MIRRORS:

all you need is a phillips screwdriver and a ratchet with 10mm socket.

Remove mirror cap plastic , one screw.

Remove 2 screws , one above the "thrash bin" of the door , one in the handle to CLOSE the door (not the one to open it) , Then pull the whole plastic piece towards you , it holds only with plastic push pins. Once done pull it towars top to unhook the door lock pin.

I let it hang by the wires but you can unhook them if you like.

Then remove speaker 4 screws. Disconnect the electric mirror connector down below IN the door (windows up). Remove 3 10mm nuts behind the mirror , you might have to tear a plastic thats in the way , if the plastic is already torn , it means someone already played there before you :thumb:
