check on ebay, i picked some up for a 2nd gen sable for 35ish each. They don't have the fishtanks but they will unscrew off yours and on to the new ones. They aren't quite oem quality but for the price they arn't bad, then maybe you can just clean up the fishtanks alittle to make them match better.

the ones i got from ebay which were just like the rockauto ones were something like jenco, they needed a little filing of the plastic to make one of the fishtanks fit flush but what do you want for 35 bucks right? Overall i'm happy with them

FWIW, if you don't feel like buying new lights, a little wetsanding and some Meguiar's PlastX will help out a good bit. Less than $10 as opposed to $70+.

If you're going to refinish your headlamps, use the micromesh kit.

I tried Plast-X and several other polishing compounds sold specifically for headlights. Short-term results were okay, and none lasted for more than a few months. In every case, the yellowing returned and became noticeable within 3 months. In the case of the Plast-X, it even caused one of my fishtanks to start yellowing, after I used it to try and remove some minor pitting (which it didn't do).

The OEM lens had some type of clear-coating to inhibit the UV yellowing, but I don't recall anyone posting what type of factory clear-coat was used.

May be Denny knows or can find out . . . .

After the wet sanding and polishing, why not have them clearcoated? I suppose that would make it more expensive, but they would be OEM lenses, versus aftermarket ones

The polish kit I used on the malibu had a coating to apply after all the sanding and all was done. Still can't find that kit tho anywhere. Came with all the sandpaper and everything needed.. was pretty convient. Was actually looking for it tonight.

A SHOCal member did that to a set of lenses he picked up after wrecking his SHO. Sanded the lenses, (took the three bumps off too), etc etc, then cleared them. You still get the yellow from the old glue though.
