Broke my arm and been dreaming about a Barra SHO. Maybe someone needs to buy my set up and make it happen lol. Haven't touched the car since the headlight mod.

For the past 7 years, I have had two super bikes sitting in my garage in pieces. I have zero intent on putting them together at this time, because of stuff like this. However, I do race downhill MTB...is it really safer?

I think if you have the time and money, a Barra swapped SHO would be amazing honestly.

Figured I'd update you all on the car. A month or so ago I decided to tear everything out for a 7.3L godzilla. The rwd set up is going to be key in that!

That being said if someone is in the market for a very built engine or a single turbo set up for big hp slide into my dms. The built transmission has already made its way to someone else's ownership. Lots of the little bits are already gone. If install is an issue and you're able to get to Missouri I can also do installation in my shop for ya.

Engine built to handle 1000hp+ Runs 30lbs of boost no issue
7,000 ish miles
LMS Coated crank
Upgraded rods and pistons
Closed deck
ARP Head studs
Ported and built heads

Single Turbo kit (downpipe also for non hood stack set up)
V band converted exhaust manifolds and exhaust routing to turbo
Garrett GTX3576R gen 2 w/ tial backhousing (750hp rated)
Tial Wg 44mm
Tial BOV
Precision intercooler
Oil lines
Charge pipes
Electronic wg controller

Have you taken those measurements?
Not really. Car doesn't have a dash in it so firewall modification is whatever if I need to do it. Heck, could even put it behind the driver seat if we want. I know it won't be too wide and it's going to need a trans tunnel widening around the ptu area regardless.

Ok so the next question is in no way questioning the “why” of this endeavor, cause I think it’s f’ing awesome. But, out of raw curiosity, with all the work involved why not be the first to twist the killer motor you already have the correct way with a proper AWD?

Because the truck 3.5 is so far superior if I were to twist it I'd rather just grab a truck engine. Also v8 noises. I've got a Whipple coyote f150 already so coyote off the table for that one.

Picked up a little some some... Waiting for this weekend to dig in and access the whole lot of things that need to happen for this to come to fruition.

Stars aligned and I found a pretty much complete (as far as what I need) Explorer ST drivetrain that is going to be the plan to swap in. If you want to see a little more about it I made a short youtube video:
