Hi everyone, I am looking for advice on where to mount a 20 oz CO2 paintball tank in my 1992. It has to be mounted upside down and somewhat near the dash. I tried under the dash but there is not enough room really without moving the fuse box. Right now I have it mounted near the shifter next to my CB but its not really an ideal location. I tried the back of the passenger seat but that was too far away.20240104 14241420240104 14242620240104 142422

What is the purpose? I have an 10 lb CO2 tank in my truck for my CO2 Cryo Chiller Rings for my intercooler. Same purpose?

this is routed to chill the intake pipe then purge out of the cowl.

I would mount it like you have it, but horizontal along the trans tunnel on the passenger side. Maybe find a fire extinguisher bracket for easy access?

Thats the hard part. It has to be mounted upside down or else it doesnt spray co2 into the line, just air from the top of the tank.

Shouldn't a paintball co2 tank be able to disperse co2 for any angle. The players rarely have their tanks vertical.

No, the co2 only comes out if its upside down. The pressure in the container is released no matter the orientation. In paintball this doesnt matter because they dont need the co2 to cool anything, but in applications like mine the co2 is the actual cold part. If it isnt spraying out its not doing anything besides shooting compressed air out.

I would honestly get a bigger bottle with a siphon tube. I have exactly what you are talking about, but mine is a complete kit.
