same here, I was going to run the Wilwood superlite calipers that I have now but a guy on a fb group shared pics of his TCE 15” Wilwood upgraded brakes…that got me thinking maybe I just want to go ahead and get those. Then upon closer inspection he had a rust ring all around the 15” 2 piece rotors in the front bc the 4 *** calipers didn’t even cover the whole rotor…so I definitely didn’t want to pay big money for that setup….which brought me to Rotora.Nice @802SHO thanks for sharing those brakes and calipers. I wasnt liking some of the options out there.

So, do they need a special adapter, or is it just a plug and play type of situation?Rotora is having a massive 40% off spring sale ends 5/31/23. View attachment 86955
I asked about 13+ since I have the steering knuckles. I was just looking for the front but fell victim to the sale. I’ve got F & R 380mm rotors with airfoil slotted 2 piece rotors with 6 piston F and 4 piston R calipers in gloss black coming. With shipping and tax just over $4,200 instead of $6,000+ tax and shipping. Many colors to choose from and choice of drilled or slotted.View attachment 86956View attachment 86957View attachment 86958View attachment 86959View attachment 86960View attachment 86961View attachment 86962View attachment 86963

I couldn’t really decide on a color so as they say, when in doubt black it outWow—these look sweet! I have a 2019 SHO PP, so I assume I would order the same package. Can't decide on the color!!! I'm thinking . . . racing-red, but the dark-metallic blue sure looks nice, too (maybe even the green!). I'm leaning toward just getting the six-piston fronts, but like you, I'm also being swayed by the sale and may get the rears as well. Thanks for the head's-up!!!
I too was thinking about ordering them without an install timeline just to take advantage of a nice sale.Wow—these look sweet! I have a 2019 SHO PP, so I assume I would order the same package. These cars are getting old damit!100K SHO....geez.
I mean it is a bottom 12 car. I have the Powerstop Drilled and Slotted rotors front and back. However, I do run the OEM PP brakes. The only time I really had a hard time stopping was ripping through the mountains with the upgraded ceramic Powerstop pads that came with the kit. I got a ton of brake fade. Once I got back home, I threw those into the trash can. Put the PP pads back on and have had great results.Hey, SM105K! You have a pretty fast SHO yet still have the stock calipers and Motorcraft PP-pads, if I'm correct. Do you feel the need to upgrade your brakes? I've been searching for upgraded calipers that were true-engineered upgrades (as the Roteras appear to be) ever since I bought my Marauder in 2003 (when the Wilwoods were the only available option—again, can't stand that logo).
The Roteras are just so f'ing tempting, if only for the much-improved cosmetic accent they add to the car; e.g., I parked next to a Kia Stinger the other day, and although it's actually a bit faster than the SHO, I was ashamed by my plain-Jane, Motorcraft calipers showing through my rims while the import-Stinger had those bright-red, fancy Brembos on her—I felt like a second-class driver and once again, suffered severe caliper-envy (as I often did with my similarly non-Brembo'd Marauder).
Brembos . . . the Christian Louboutins of brake calipers . . . sigh.
But seeing that my car is unmodified, and not that much of a muscle car in its current state, the need for expensive six-caliper brakes up-front seems wholly unnecessary (I still don't know how you got 500+ lb-ft of torque on your SHO!).
Of course, if I ever arrive at the kind of power you're eeking out of your SHO, the Roteras are a definite buy. But that sale-price isn't going to last forever . . . or, perhaps, it's one of those "perpetual" sales, intended only to give the impression of huge savings to prompt prospective buyers to buy now.
Totally my experience also on old SHO and F150. Powerstop pads not worth it to me. The kits are priced to sell, the performance is not an 'upgrade'. I get high dust dirty Hawk pads.upgraded ceramic Powerstop pads that came with the kit. I got a ton of brake fade. Once I got back home, I threw those into the trash can. Same experience for me. I went with Powerstop pads/rotors and ate through the pads pretty quick. I switched to EBC Yellow Stuff pads after that and was not impressed. They may have stopped slightly better but the brake dust was unreal. Within days of washing, all 4 rims had a dust film. I won't use them again.Totally my experience also on old SHO and F150.
