And wipers, remember to turn the stupid wipers off. Ask me how I know.

haha yes, that too. Anything with an "auto" function. Although it will throw you for a loop when they turn on by themselves halfway through loading.

And don't freak out if you finish the tune and you're out of gas... lol

Lexus Update: The motor is still knocking. However I keep sending it. Reverse now works without turning off the car and putting it in reverse than starting it again lol. Things are looking up.

Up next: 340 lph in tank fuel pump and Torco Accelerator going in fuel tank. Probably can turn it up from 17 psi to 20 to 21 psi and should be over 500 hp.

Lexus Update: Since I found some junk in the oil filter last oil change, I expected to find more this oil change......

Nope the oil was clean and debris free. No bearing glittering, ect. Oil looks great. Threw some 20w-50 VR1 with a quarter of Lucus Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer and now she runs even smoother. The knock is quieter as well. I am so confused.

So next is a in tank 340lph pump, some more octane, and some more boost. Lol.

Lexus Upate: I ordered a Walbro 350 lph in tank pump kit for a Lexus IS 300. It is a plug and play upgrade. Since I have a 255 lph in the tank already, the amp draw shouldn't be too significant. It should be here on Friday.

Going to install it and poke around with the tune. I should have enough fuel pump and injectors for 600hp on pump gas. That being said, I don't have enough ignition or transmission for that number. Looking for a couple more psi of boost because 20 psi is cooler than 17 psi. That should put the Lexus in the neighborhood of 500 hp to the tire.

Looking to start my journey of learning how to tune lol......

Lexus Update: The tune is getting worked on I am seeing/learning some pretty cool things. Another person is helping me out (actually doing the tuning). They are making changes and dropping knowledge that I am 100% comfortable with. We made a bunch of progress on Sunday and with the changes so far I feel there has been a large improvement along with a bump in power. When I get home I will load the latest revision and do some logging and see where we can go. As of right now, I won't reveal the tuner unless they want me too. However working this person has been pretty damn cool.

Did you get close at a similar time of year? Thinking of ambient temps in your mild summer area :burnout:
Nope when it went it's fastest at 12.56 it was 58 degrees out according to my post.

July will probably 108+ degrees so we will have the extreme opposite.

Lexus Update: Revision was a major improvement in drivability, responsiveness, and the bump in power. So far so good.
