I know you mentioned your builder, I believe Max Power in Illinois is doing the work. Is that correct? I'm looking to go and have a built engine and drive this car to 200,000 and beyond. 550whp 500-550wtq is my goal. I would make it my own project, but unfortunately health and other things going on I just don't have time to do the engine build myself
Side note, I need those damn raybestos plates.

Some interior updates and progress. Aside from adding back my front door cards, I was able to get my Schwartz Engineered Performance new seat brackets and Kirky seat with Sparco sliders installed. Before I was stationary and once bolted it was where it was….now I can slide it back. So nice! I’ve always wanted one of those 3 gauge pods to replace the main Sony Dash speaker bc I absolutely love that look. But I ended up buying this tablet setup with brackets a fellow SHO owner listed for sale in one of the EcoBoost SHO FaceBook groups, a little over a year ago. It attaches very slick to the inside of the center Sony dash speaker and it’s going to be my Torque Pro gauge display of 6 digital gauges running directly off the OBD2 port.52964FB7 7E91 446F 82CB 5BEDB3ECF002

Once it’s up and running, I’ll need to hide the wire in the dash and get a black cord (came with white) so it blends in better. It’s going to look like this all said and done and what I think is a really cool alternative to the current 3 gauge pod available. Picture below on what sold me.

Spoke to him today. He seemed against raybestos. Says they having backing issues in their plates which separate. Unfortunately not much can be done to transmission. He is 8 to 11 months out just getting my car in. Estimate is $12,000 to $14,000 for build, is that by chance close to what your estimate is?

I paid the lower end of that. Prices are going up everywhere though

Test Fit #2. Closer but steering rack not cooperating. Can you remove the TC and see what the space looks like after you drop the engine down to where it needs to be? It might give you a better idea of what you need to do.

Any chance that the transmission is drooping slightly?
It’s actually supported bc without axles in and connected to control arms/suspension it has nearly no bracing and with weight of PTU needed extra bracing under. So it’s good
