K&N filters on what?
Dont mind my ignorance but I assumed the filters were for the BOV. Correct me if I'm wrong.

The part # cited is the crankcase vent filter.
If you remove your recirc tubing, you can VTA by replacing it with that particular filter.

Their are two locations, look at 4DRHTRD post with pics. The last pic in the set shows you the 2 bov spots. Follow the hose and you will see where to cap with chair stops. I did it and am enjoying. Hope this helps.

Update... Walmart has the 1 inch chair leg covers in the home improvement section for $1.77 for a pack of 4.

not having any fun trying to get the hose disconnected from the rear BOV...can't seem to get any sort of pliers back there to release the hose clamp. If I can't get the hose off the BOV can i just leave it connected and have it blow off through the hose to atmosphere?
Also, I'm open to any tips on getting to the dang hose clamp to get it off

You can leave the back hose on the BOV. But, I was able to get it off. I used a stubbie flat blade screwdriver to carefully turn the clamp to where I could squeeze it with the pliers. But, be careful! It's on a a plastic tube. Hook the blade in the far end of the clamp and wiggle slowly until it will turn easily. Good Luck!

Pull the pipe off the turbo, disconnect from engine and the front hose - takes about 5 minutes - use a 1/4" ratchet with 3" extension 5/16" socket (I think) to get to rear turbo clamp, it's affixed to the hose so it won't fall off. With that loose you can easily get and turn the pipe to get to the BoV. Remove BoV from pipe and then you can easily get to the clamps.

I was able to remove front hose completely and rear was just disconnected from the tubing and left it there rather then remove the tube. Just seemed easier to disconnect the one end. Noticed the back one like to spit gunk out.

Yeah I have my BOV now VTA, was easy to do. I didn't here them at first, then wife and I were out on a drive, I had to get on it, left off and PHTTT. I was happy. Just installed K&N Typhoon CAI, didn't effect the sound of the BOV.

Just did the front BOV for now. I'll save the rear for later. Took it for a little drive. I like the sound.

I done did it!! The rear put up a little bit of a struggle (or maybe it was partially due to my large hands barely fitting back there with the pliers) but I hath emerged victorious and it sounds great! My car now seems to have a head cold, i hit the gas and let off and it goes ah ah ah ah choooo! lol Time to go confuse some unsuspecting ricers

Beautiful day today so both BOVs are now vented. I didn't bother completely removing the rear hose. It sounds about 5 times louder than just venting the front. My wife will hate it.
