Come on, for Gods sakes, its not like youre having a sex change!!! Do you want 300whp, and 300 ft lbs of torque right off idle, or no?

LOSE THE DAMN INTAKE!!!!

Bloody ****, anyone got a sho for sale?

Btw, Tyler, lemme know when you set up the dyno time. Im assuming it will be between the 12-19th, so I will pop by to check things out. Pity I wont be able to crash the dublin get together. :(

:hail: WILL YOU PLEASE make a kit for this?!?!?!! OR even a write-up on it?! ****, I'd pay you some $$ for the R&D work you have already done, just to have that whine under my hood!

The more I think about it, the more simple I see it really is.

here's my ideas so far since seeing this creation:

1. move the SC towards the front of the car more, down, and rotate a hair to fit above the gap between the radiator cover and the front valve cover

2. fabricate an intake to match. Maybe custom plates with cylinders for the proper hose to clamp too to make it easier. Attatch plates to both the lower intake and the bottom of the SC, then run hose to connect the two. Side effect in terms of intake velocity would probably be very positive as well.

3. manipulate the pully system to adapt to the change

4. fit stock hood :evil_gri:

If anyone is interested in one of these things PM me and we can talk. I can supply everything needed to put the blower on the car and get it running. You would need to supply the tuning and fuel system upgrades.

If that is from the Supercoupe, I hope its the second generation with the upgraded/coated internals.

That blower should be good to at least 12PSI...thats what the stock boost output is.

Damn man, my S/C kit is on it's way...if I don't like it I may order a kit from ya. **** I could prolly pay for it with selling off just the intake!

I remember seeing someone else put an M90 on a SHO a while back, but they kept the intake and mounted it sideway somehow. I bet it would turn up with a search but Im too lazy.

I'm very curious to see how your rod bearings and stock pistons hold up.

Any idea what has been done with the ignition advance?

Thats not fair! Hey, maybe instead of tensioners, I should slap that ontop of my motor........

But, alas reality sets in, oh well.

Congratulations on a job well done. You get a 10 for style points as well... very different. It was only about a year ago when Justin (foxwulfe), Chris (speedy_91_sho) and I were talking about how neat it would be if someone adapted a roots style blower on a sho and cut a hole in the stock hood and have it stickin out. Secondaries... we don't need no stinkin' secondaries... I'd rather have horsepower than a neat lookin intake. Very good job :hail:

that is definately cool, too bad theres probably not enough room between the heads to mount the blower upside down in the valley and have the forced air go up into the new intake.

I do agree with a few people, i do like the snakes a lot..maybe too much. A personal taste i guess..and they wow all my friends whenever i pop the hood. (so would an eaton supercharger too, but less educated people would probably consider it less attractive as well). And the crazy hood or cut outs you'll need..well i'll have to hold judgement on that till i see it. Whenever i think of holes cut in hoods..i remember that pic of the supercharged probe with the hacked out hole in the hood..looked very unprofessional.

But i can't help but be amazed by how much power this thing will be making for such little cash.

We all remember the "you can't turbo a sho for less than 10,000 dollars" threads :laugh_ti: How about supercharge it for less than 500 dollars

What the heck are you talking about, it's $20,000 to do it PROPERLY. jeeez...

Nice job with the s/c. I'd totally **** that. Who needs a hood anyway?

DAYUM! That thing is SICK!
Way to go, man! I thought a little fog blowing out of the hood was cool. Nah, THIS is cool! Now you have to find a ginormous old-Nova sized cowl induction hood..or not. :thumb:

So does this help to explain why you were so willing to buy our GTP? I thought you actually liked the car, but you were going to cannibalize it? HA!

By the way, the air is just kind of crammed into both intake ports, right?
I don't even know how to phrase the question, shouldn't the air come in in a certain pattern, or will it pick up that pattern by the time it gets down the ports?
Know what I'm saying. I guess I could say, didn't the snakes do some shaping/rearranging of the air, before it went into the tops of the cylinders? Or maybe I could say, will you smoothe out the edges of the holes leading to the intake ports (make them more funnel shaped) for smoother airflow?

Tyler knows my mechanical knowledge, and he's probably saying something like, "OK, this guy is asking me about airflow on a new blower set-up. He lost NINE head bolts when he pulled his heads off!"
Yup, that's me. And we're moving into a house, so I'm sure I'll find them when I clean out the garage. Let me get a feel for the new neighbors, and I'll gladly host a get-together, especially for this. Your car gets the driveway!
