My car won't start, although it has fuel and spark. Is there a coil module that might be controling the timing of the motor? What about a possible crankshaft position sensor. It has started inteh past and the tach hasn't work. What controls the tach may be my problem? Any suggestions?

If it has spark, the crank sensor is working.

How have you confirmed the presence of spark and fuel?

Have you confirmed that spark and fuel are occuring at the proper time?

Not to doubt you, but what methods did you use to determine if there was fuel and spark present?

What would (besides timing belt) control timing of the spark? My plugs are wet, I have cleaned them, and they do fire. The car was running, but it will not start right now.
