Both my 2 1990 MTX's and my 1994 ATX are not driven much but recently they will either start right up and run fine and other times they will kick back on the stater real bad and the tach doesn't read and if it starts runs terrible, turn it off and sometimes stats fine. Sometimes everything is good. Maybe ignition mod or crankshaft sensor or cam sensor or? Please any help would be good, they have no codes. Thanks Larry

Since you mention the tachometer doesn't register, that would be more likely to be the Camshaft Position Sensor (Cylinder ID) as I'm pretty sure that serves as the source for the tachometer. A missing Crankshaft Position Sensor signal will prevent the engine from starting or running.

Interesting all 3 developed the same issue at the same time... Might point more to where/how they are stored? Unusually humid, unusually cold, etc? What codes have you pulled and are the same codes on all 3?
