Wire confusion behind dash

OK, I started the install on my DVD player and screen, and got all the wires in there. But there are SO many wires back there, that I can't even slide the DVD player back all the way. Can anyone shed some insight into this? It's kinda cramped back there.

I had the same problem with mine. What I did was reach behind the console by the pedals and pull them down like that. That was the only way I was able to make enough room to slide my HU in.

I will have to crawl under and take a look. Also Does anyone know where I can find a little black box thing? It's for the screen. I think they are a fairly universal thing. What is it is: A little black piece with 4-5 wires (power, ground, etc), and also an RCA input? Then for the output, it has an S video cable going to the screen. I called Lanzar, and they wanted $85 bucks for this thing! frown

Yeah, a pic would help. My mom has the digital cam today. So I will dig around in there tomorrow, and get a pic. Thanks for the help.

OK, I got some pics. I think it must be the S video part that is bad. But I cannot find this part anywhere. I'm hoping that it's a universal part.

Hmm...never seen anything like that. The closest thing to that I've ever seen is the box that comes with DVD players with the screen already in the HU, and those go for like $500. Sorry I can't help you out more.
