My car's ecm and radio lose power on full throttle(1st to second gear shift) and come back after I get off of it. I checked the connections(all seem good). If anyone has an idea I would like to fix it-

Yea-I thougt it was the battery as well-replaced it with a new optima red-I will check the alternator though-I have a spare so no big deal if it is-dstig1 said:Check the battery too. I've had really weird electrical behavior 2 times in my cars life. Both times it was a dead battery. No warning to speak of. I would step on the brakes and the radio would turn off, the EATC would reset, all kinds of weird stuff. How old is that battery? 5 yrs or more, just replace it anyways, as PM.
No, still there. Seems like it is a short or a alt. problem-Mdstig1 said:When you replaced the battery did it fix it or not? If it went away then you found the problem. The second time it happened to me it was an internal short in the battery. It was only ~1 yr old, and decent quality. They replaced it. All better.

All the mounts are new except the drivers side one that is near the wheel. It seems a little dmged. No shiny spots though. Mqiksho said:I second the motor mounts...they can cause all sorts of strange problems. If you have a shiny spot on the top of your intake more than likely you have atleast one bad mount.
