Wow, this place is a ghost town . . .

I've seen 5 other SHO's in the last 13 years (this includes trips down to Miami, Orlando and through Jacksonville northward), so I'm wondering how low the numbers have dwindled.

For the sake of resuscitating this forum and out of curiosity, I'm making a thread consisting of any SHO owners that still visit this particular forum. Please reply with your year, color, a basic list of any mods, any current repairs needed/in the works, wants, etc. I'll start:

98 Silver Frost
(EDIT 4/23/20)
K&N Panel (no sax), ASFB, rebuilt tranny, Gen2 tranny cooler, WELDED (of course), No IMRC or butterflies (removed along with shafts), catch can setup modified from cheap ebay version (works well!), No A/C or CD changer, dash is warped badly, Headlight upgrade and ipod conversion to come; currently working to add enough LEDs to brake light circuit to reinstate cruise control. (I know it'll take a lot!); Konis in front; currently dead in driveway as I need new fuel pump and steering rack (YIKES!)

I'm still around sometimes. I just saw a gen2sho not to long ago, at the junkyard. Not a junk car, someones car parked outside. There is one gen2 in the yard and I'm sure he was picking from it.

88 Flat Black SHOWagon. Sho eveything came from a 90 sho, even interior.
rebuilt engine, rebuilt tranny that lost its reverse recently. No a/c, just needs recharge. Needs alignment and tires, and the tranny removed again to fix the reverse, its internal. Other then that, drive great.

Well theres me and K-DAWG

Ive got a white 91 Plus with a P&P catted y-pipe, flowmaster exhaust, unknown cams (exhaust is pretty lopey so Id guess SHoShop II), SHOshop UDP set, SHOshop reinforced mounts, home made intake, acid ported manifold with BBB, Koni shocks and Pi springs, Ingalls RCAs, Keystone H brace. Working on a gen III subframe in the near future. Needs ABS sensors because I tugged them when I let the hubs hang when changing the springs.

I'm new to the SHO. I just acquired a 1994 3.0 SHO, Green/wht stripe, 156,000 miles. Good driver and passed a diagnostic tests.

I am in the Daytona area and would like to be referred to a shop that is qualified to replace the timing belt as a precaution. I hesitate to take it to anyone under the age of 50 that does not have a bunch of experience with the Yamaha.

Do you have any options for me? I don't mind driving 1-2 hours for qualified techs.

Thank you.

Maybe get with Chris (SuperchargedSHOguy) and see if he wants to make some extra $$$.
He is in Melbourne and has done just about everything you can do in a SHO.

I'm in Melbourne too, but I own a Gen 3. I tried to get ahold of Chris but no response. I see he hasn't been signed on for a while.

Needs a new sunroof seal, fuel pump ball-check valve and the clutch pedal buzzes. Going to need new front pads and rotors soon.

Bump!

Brian, you back in FL yet? I would hate to think that there won't be anymore east FL SHO gatherings, and that I never got to meet you guys, but it's looking that way. I'd probably be the only Gen3 SHO there anyway.
