you just lost your diff pin. Search junkyards for a transmission, and buy a rebuild kit and video from shonutperformance.com

acually i did do alot of burn outs, so it's either my diff pin which i think it is cause i found it along side of the road after i felt it hit my floor boards, another possibility could be my spider gear, but either way a is a new tranny the best way to fix it cause i'm sure my gears have gotten hot

Yeah, your diff pin went out alright. That tranny is shot. Sorry to hear, invest in a Quaife.

A new (or more accurately, a replacement) tranny is the only way to fix it. That's the price of burnouts... Sorry. frown

yeah acually i believe it was worth i, to do the best burn outs you put fast food tray's under your rear tires and lock the e-brake on them it's like having rear wheel drive on ice, it's it possible to make my tranny stonger, i.e limited slip diff. or will that break just as easly

I can't imagine why someone would intentionally treat their poor car this way. shrug In any case, good luck to you!

if you don't put a quaife in with the new tranny, expect to do the same thing in a few months.

Just for the record, that's a hole in your transaxle. If you don't learn from this premature destruction of your SHO, you might as well have another hole somewhere near your cranial matter. Burnouts are bad. You proved it.

Was that an insult?
You don't need a SHO to do burn outs. ****, I can do them with my lowly Civic.
I'd like to be a fly on the wall so I could see your facial expression when you get your tranny repair invoice from your mechanic. :D

Well, if you want a fast car you want to minimize burn outs. Its all about traction. Unless on the track trying to heat up the tires, burnouts are just for show. Sure you get a lot of people looking at you, but wait when you do that to your second tranny. Everybody will be laughing at you when you blow the diff again and you get smoke coming from the tranny.

Yikes.... another one eh? I'm a little bit scared of this beings I don't have enough money for a new clutch, let alone a quaife and the necessary install parts, and other stuff that needs to get replaced when the tranny comes down. Is it just as bad to chirp second gear or is the occasional chirp ok? My assumption is that anything that goes from wheel slip to wheel grab is bad.

Bah, all these wet blankets are just trying to ruin your fun, Jeg. Buy yourself a rebuilt trans with a limited slip, and do burnouts without worry.
