Didnt find much in the search.

Everyday driving I476 and R22 in PA is like playing the lottery and i've pushed my luck too long w/o a cam.

Been thinking something like this based off reviews and youtube and etc.

https://www.amazon.com/V1P-Dashboar...srs=10517197011&ie=UTF8&qid=1496497432&sr=8-5

It has front and back interior cams. I would get a hardwire kit and use a 'add a fuze'

Anyone have any suggestions or recommendations?

Anything to look for or avoid?

Any issues with hiding wires. I doubt the front wires will be an issue hiding in the headliner but i am concerned about getting the rear camera wires to the back.

This model isnt wifi. Anyone using wifi? Advantages?

And lastly, If anyone is using add a fuze, let me know which fuze. Something that is only on when the car is running.

Thanks all.

Any pics would be great!

I've been thinking of using my phone with one of the apps that are available free. I seem to have too many other projects at the moment to actually take action though...

I have a blackvue dr-650s2ch running the rear is a easy just need to pop the rear seat forward I think all the panels pull off without unscrewing anything
WiFi I great so you can check on it periodically and so it can send alerts when someone has ****** with your car when it's parked

Cool, and +1 for the 140mph....

SO I assume your unit has a GPS module. Question or concern. If i do need to use video for something im not sure i want my driving habits recorded.... so is GPS info always on the video or can you choose what to show?

Yes You can choose what to show. The way I see it if I need to reveal it chances are I'm going proper speed otherwise I'm not going to let people know I had it on.
These guys are awesome if you can think up anything to make their product better they will add it.

I'm waiting on the Garmin Dash Cam 45 to get in stock and will be purchasing that. I've had a few close calls the last few weeks and really look forward to getting one.

Like the frame rate on that nice and smooth not like some. Clear at high speed.
How is it recording at night? That where I see issue with some of the other brands. Not too bad of a price. But still up there

Browsed YouTube some nice ones there. Looked at Japan everything was parked in a garage, lol. Browsed some of the stuff caught on dash cams. Noticed I was on for 2hrs looking at scam accidents and such, was very informative and crazy bat shit stuff. I have to get one now

I also purchased the Blackvue DR650S-2CH and am happy with it. The kit I purchased from Amazon had "add-a-fuse/fuse taps" included. However, It doesn't appear that it's long enough to fit snuggly due to how the fuse box on a 2013 Taurus SHO is molded and has a cover. Has anyone been able to find an add-a-fuse/fuse tap that works in the 2013 Taurus SHO?

Thanks for replying and sending a photo. My 2013 Taurus SHO uses low-profile mini fuses. The blackvue kit shipped with the low-profile mini fuse (APS) add-a-circuit and it doesn't have enough clearance. The photo that Sholab 1 posted is of mini fuse (APM/ATM). The mini fuses worked for me as well!

It may be the mounting position, but I'd go for one that would be able to see out both sides as well.

The dash cam is on my 'to-add' list in the near future

Rear view question, how is the view out through a tinted window? Is the cam degraded at all?
