I used to could have a SHO. I might could again someday.

And if you should happen to acquire another one in the future, you should consider "SHO ***" as BOTH your token forum user name, and maybe even see if you can get away with a license plate of the same name.

If the latter is denied, appeal and explain to them what the *** is an acronym for.

Maybe they'll reconsider? Just a thought.

I am interested to hear about your F150.

Contacted brewcity boost for a tune and they sent me 3 for $200

AO style Highlander tune, towing MacGyver tune, and full race e85.
They said it should take about 5 revisions to dial it in.

I shopped around for some other options but I wasn't getting much information or some other stuff. I'd go into more details but that's for another thread.

I'm loading the full race tune now. I'll try to follow up with results.

My tuner sucks. He often takes weeks to provide a revision, and sometimes they don’t even make a difference. On top of that he doesn’t have a damned clue how to tune a transmission. But my fuel trims are all <5%, and knock is non-existent on 93 octane, which is more than I could say about my GH tune.

Pros: free revisions on all my vehicles for eternity. Meticulous attention to detail. If my engine blows up, he will pay for the replacement.

Cons: Slow AF. Doesn’t have the magical ground unicorn horn dust in his tunes that every commercial tuner claims to have.

I'm looking for a 7th gen SHO, widebody with the rearwheel biased awd, 3.5tt in the proper orientation, with a 6speed manual, comes in 3 colors: black, Black, or BLACK.

As someone who is looking at getting a fresh tune I am loving this thread!!

Get some tunes, try em all out. There was different things I liked about each one. Ajpturbo probably put down the most power overall. Gearhead definitely changed my driving style and overall enjoyment as my daily driver.

I'll keep my experiences brief and try not to throw feelings into it.

1) unleashed: base tune would spike 22lbs and trans would shift like it was hitting a brick wall. Do not recommend

2) ajpturbo: silky smooth acceleration and adjustments to boot for each of my modifications. Extremely quick for being conservative on fuel pressure with stock hpfp. (Ran 11.98 on e30 with no supplementary fueling) Always been a step ahead in refinement and acceleration from my other comparable tunes. I've never been bothered by it but response times can be lengthy

3) gearhead: great auto adjusting tunes. I get false knock though from some weird resonance with my exhaust and the mid range part throttle tuning so it throws off the OAR and in turn lowers power. Felt very solid when OAR is good.

I count 4 gens. 89-91 the boxy normal taurus sleeper sho. 92-95, the sleek sho. 96-99 the ******** flawed in everyway sho. And the 10-19, only differences was the interior, taillights and the grill sho
This is incorrect and has already been confirmed by the past president of the National SHO Club that there were/are enough changes between the GEN4 (2010 to 2012 model years) to the GEN5 (2013 & up model years) as being 5 separate generations.

Please yaycandy do not spread misinformation. Intentionally or otherwise.

No dig at you, but you are incorrect on your statement.

There were/are many more changes than just the ones you've cited alone to justify the changes.

Along with the hood, front fenders, front clip, brakes, speedo cluster, and ECU as well off the top of my head. You can say 4, but there are 5.

I'm not getting back at anyone else. I just put that out there. Me personally ill accept that 2013 and up is gen 5 once this forum, taurus forum. Other forums. Wikipedia, many other sites say ok there is a gen 5 and do all the updates. Till then it's a mid gen refresh to me. Im my opinion
