Great question!

To that I would say, that I am not a part of forum staff.

Send that suggestion to a moderator and see what they say.

It's plausible that there should be one dedicated exclusively to the GEN5 owner's for sure.

Wasn't getting at you, just saw a perfect opportunity to show that I dont agree with it as a "5th gen" sho for 2013 and up.

Bought a 89 parts car for my 90. Boy was I upset to see it diffrent than my 90. So is 89 and 90 2 gens? Then there is 6 gens right? No, ford decided to refresh it. Not considered a gen difference to me

The 1st Gen and 2nd Gen SHO's were similar enough yet different enough to be under the same section. The 4th and 5th Gens probably fall under that umbrella too on this forum.

Sounds to me like the people in charge are too lazy to go back and change it without a push

They will just add a /5th to the 4th, and lump it into the same section just like the 1st and 2nd Gen. Most 4/5 Gen owner on here know the difference, just like the 1st and 2nd gen owners do.

There are 7 Generations of Taurus. Howevever there are 5 Generations of the SHO within those Generations. There were no SHO produced within the 4th and 5th Gen of the Taurus run.

Dosnt make it a "sho". Chevy ss is mechanically a holden. Is it in usa. No
Again... mechanically a SHO PP and a PI are the same.. the differences are purely the interior and i guess YOU might call the gear shifter part of the drivetrain
