What year SHO do u have mine is a 97 3.4 far as I know the cam is connected to the water pump that runs down to the cams to keep ur cams coolI don't know what cam coolant is.
Okay I'm just saying what the shop said I took it for a state inspection they put the pressure test on and as they did it it blew the hoses and the water just came out I've never heard of it myself but at the same time I've never heard of an oil pan coolant and to what I was told the SHO has that to this style of engine is new to me as for say the water pump is on the driver side I'm lost to be truthful lolHey Jimmy
Someone is messing with you.
Only thing that cools the cams is the engine oil.
Intake cam on front head is driven by a belt from the water pump. That is as close to coolant as your cams should get.
Would u have an idea where the leak could be coming from I've checked a lot of the hoses and I changed the water pump any ideasOkay I'm just saying what the shop said I took it for a state inspection they put the pressure test on and as they did it it blew the hoses and the water just came out I've never heard of it myself but at the same time I've never heard of an oil pan coolant and to what I was told the SHO has that to this style of engine is new to me as for say the water pump is on the driver side I'm lost to be truthful lol
