What type and brand of oil?

I would like to use amsoil, on there site they say i should use either 10W-30 or 0W-30. They didnt have 5W-30 on there list. You guys have any thoughts.

Been using Amsoil 5w30 for the last three years. No complaints other than pricey. Took a **** of a beating when SW9 STB in the desert last convention.

I was using 0w30 but feel it is too light if you abuse your motor, had a little problem with rod bearings...

I currently use the 5w40 and am very happy with it so far.
