What tranny is in my sho

okay sounds like a noob question but I am very confused I get told its an AXOD tranny then I get told its a AX4s tranny which is it because I replaced my VSS a while back with a AXOD one and im having nothing but shifting problems no downshifting at WOT OD sticks cruise control dont work WTF is happening to my car CEL comes on then turns off on then off its a 1994 ATX

The '94 SHO ATX is an AX4S from the factory. However, an AXOD will bolt in no problem. When I blew the diff in my '95 AX4S, I had an AXOD-E laying around, so I swapped it in although it is slightly inferior.

okay I did replace the tranny but now Im not sure what tranny is in my car the pan says AXOD metric but I have been told not to listen to that HOw can I know for sure I would like to get the right VSS this time

Sounds like your new vss is either bad or not connected properly. According to my sources, the vss is the same between those trans.
